Who we are

Who we are

We are a group of volunteers committed to raising the funds to build a state-of-the-art aquatic and recreation complex for Southern Maine. We have passion, drive, and love of our community. Professionals and entrepreneurs  in technology, finance, fitness, and real estate are dedicating their free time volunteering for this worthwhile and ambitious cause.  Committees have been formed for marketing and fundraising. If you have the passion and professional skills to offer, contact us to volunteer. Read about where we are in the planning process!

The Dream

The Dream

An eight lane competition lap pool and a shallow entry warm water recreation pool will be designed to accommodate competitive swimming, fitness swim, family swim, senior swim,  training, and lessons. Therapy and wellness programs will be developed. An indoor court will be designed to accommodate indoor  tennis, basketball, volleyball, and community programs.  Program ideas  are abundant and discussions are ongoing!  Read about where we are in the planning process!

Changing Lives

Changing Lives

From therapy for elderly adults struggling with pain to Special Olympics meets and competitions, this will be a wellness center for everyone. Today, those with special conditions can only use small hotel pools for therapy or must travel far. Programs will be available for all abilities, levels, and needs – not just the fit and healthy. The complex could  transform the lives of the people living here. Routines will change. Relationships will change.  The health and wellness of the community will change. Join us in this worthwhile endeavor!
